Sawandi Groskind is a filmmaker working across fiction, experimental cinema, and hybrid narrative forms. Since the early 2000s, he has written and directed several award-winning short films screened at international festivals. Developed through artist-run production and small-scale filmmaking, Groskind’s practice is rooted in experimental and formally independent cinema. His most recent feature films have premiered at FIDMarseille, a festival known for its rigorous focus on contemporary, formally adventurous cinema.
